Obiettivi formativi | Il corso ha lo scopo di introdurre lo studente a: |
Prerequisiti | Nel corso del suo percorso formativo precedente, è essenziale che lo studente abbia già acquisito i fondamenti della semeiotica chirurgica nonché le nozioni teoriche della chirurgia. |
Metodologie didattiche | Il corso si propone di introdurre lo studente agli aspetti clinici e chirurgici delle malattie di interesse neurochirurgico, dall'esordio all'evoluzione e poi al trattamento, nonché al management prima e dopo l'intervento chirurgico con note di tecnica chirurgica e gestione delle complicanze peri e postoperatorie. Il corso consentirà allo studente di visualizzare nella pratica clinica e chirurgica quanto appreso dalle lezioni frontali, potendo approfondire con i tutor i principali aspetti della stessa attraverso le attività del dipartimento e della sala operatoria. |
Metodi di valutazione | La valutazione dello studente si basa sulla prova orale. L'esame orale copre tutti gli aspetti teorici della neurochirurgia. Lo studente dovrebbe essere in grado di discutere sull'argomento ed analizzare le diverse patologie. Per testare l'acquisizione di questa capacità allo studente verrà chiesto di risolvere un semplice problema clinico, riconoscendo la malattia in base alla manifestazione clinica. Il voto finale è espresso in 30/30 dove 18 rappresenta il minimo e 30 il massimo e si stabilisce durante la prova orale. |

Course objectives | The course aims to introduce the student to: |
Prerequisites | During of his previous training, it is essential that the student has already acquired the basics of surgical semeiotics as well as the theoretical notions of the surgery. |
Teaching methods | The course aims to introduce the student to the clinic and surgery of diseases of neurosurgical interest, from the onset to evolution and then to treatment as well as to management before and after surgery with notes of surgical technique and management of peri and postoperative complications. The course will allow the student to visualize in the clinical and surgical practice what has been learned from the lectures, being able to deepen with the tutors the main aspects of the same through the activities of the department and operating room. |
Evaluation methods | Evaluation of student proficiency is based on oral test. The oral exam covers all the aspects of the theory of neurosurgery. The student should be able to discuss on the topic and be able to connect and analyze the different subjects. In order to test the acquisition of this ability the student will be asked to solve simple clinical oriented problem, recognizing disease based on clinical manifestation. The final grade is expressed in 30/30 were 18 represents the minimum and 30 the maximum and it is established during the oral exam. |
