    Obiettivi formativi

    L’obiettivo generale del corso è fornire i principali concetti e strumenti di cui fanno uso la statistica medica per la raccolta, l’organizzazione, l’analisi e l’interpretazione di informazioni sanitarie;
    Più specificamente le finalità sono:
     sensibilizzare l’infermiere alla lettura critica di un articolo scientifico;
    - introdurre i concetti connessi al processo con cui si costruisce l’evidenza scientifica e clinica sull’efficacia di un intervento.

    The general objective of the course is to provide the main concepts and tools used by medical statistics for the collection, organization, analysis and interpretation of health information;
    More specifically, the purposes are:
    - make the nurse aware of the critical reading of a scientific article;
    - to introduce the concepts connected to the process by which scientific and clinical evidence is built on the effectiveness of an intervention.

    Teaching methods

    Teaching techniques: Lectures supported by presentation of slides in Power Point. Medical statistics 30 hours, Epidemiology 15 hours, Informatic 30 hours and Research Methodology 15 hours

    Evaluation methods

    Multiple choice written exam aimed at evaluating the ability to interpret the statistical methods used for the evaluation of the scientific literature: The questions of the written task have a decreasing score in relation to the degree of difficulty. The total score of the written test is the sum of the scores obtained from the individual subjects of the integrated course. with a maximum of 31.
